The EBR 1190RX has been officially revealed (unlike the official one from yesterday) at the AIMExpo.
It's basically the low production run 1190RS without all of the carbon fiber goodies and making a little bit less power. I don't have the dry weight figures to compare side by side with the 1190RS but the wet weight minus gas is published. It's looking like a sport bike with roughly the same amount of power as the new KTM Super Duke 1290 but with less weight.
The important figures are:
185hp @ 10,600RPM
101.6ft-lbs @ 8200RPM
419LBs Wet Weight Minus Fuel
The bike holds 4.5 Gallons of gas so that means the bike should be 446Lbs full of fuel. Putting in the average for other liter sportbikes. For comparison the BMW S100044 weighs around 458lbs full of fuel. Both bikes are a lot more than the class leading (weight wise) Ducati 1199 Panigale.
The last important figure is the MSRP of $18,995. The price isn't too bad but the lack of electronic aids like traction control and ABS is going to hurt at that price range.
EDIT: Some new info came out of the show and the bike will have 21 level setting traction control. Still no ABS but the traction control will help a lot. At least it will marketing-wise.
