One of my favorite bike's of all time is the KTM Super Duke. It's an awesome liquid cooled standard bike similar to my Buell 1125CR. Unfortunately, it 'only' has 999cc motor giving you access to 'only' 112 horses.
The new model that KTM has been teasing should remedy that. It's expected to have a motor displacing just under 1300ccs. Estimated power figures puts the horsepower range to something in between 160 to 200HP.
KTM has been teasing the concept versions of the bike all year with a few spy shots thrown in for good measure.
But thanks to motociclismo.it, we now have a 'leaked' photo of the bike in it's full production trim, ahead of it's official unveiling on October 1st.
It's lost the GP style underslung exhaust but I'm sure that is something the aftermarket will have an answer for.
In any case, I am super excited about another monster standard coming on to the market. I think this bike is probably going to be a serious contender for my next bike.
If you're not swayed, here's KTM's teaser video showing the bike in action.
